This is the time of year when the days are short and the nights a canopy to the earth in her long rest. The New Year is the changeling time between what has been and what is to become. It is a time to place what has been carried during the long year into the willing ground and a time to nourish and strengthen the roots of our bodies before the arrival of the tremors of spring. The pace of time itself starts to quieten, opening our membranes to the dawning of intent. A time to open to the quiet rhythms of the soul’s balm and be alive to her measure. A time to be with the foundations of what is present and what draws us on.
This is a retreat where the pace will be no quicker than our longest breath. Together we will find the space to move, looking for foundation on the ground. Space to explore the breath that gives life to our bodies. Space to peacefully settle our bodies on the ground. There will be time to contemplate and share. Time for a story to give us insight into what is beckoning. We will also take time to explore the Brahmari Pranayama, the ‘Bee’ breath, that brings resonance to our bodies from our own voices.
The day is open to all. A warming vegetarian lunch will be provided.
Cost £75. Early bird discount of 20% for bookings before 1st December with Promo Code BREATHE20. Book here.
